Just to open minds a bit to think and not to cause a race debate READ THE WHOLE POST AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I A FULLY SAYING.
Would it be ok if a white person played Famous Black Characters? Again REMEMBER TO THINK OF THE CHARACTER AND IF IT WILL FIT WITHOUT QUESTION.

AND SO MANY MORE AND MY ANSWER WOULD BE HELLLL NO THEY ARE ALL PERFECT THE WAY THEY ARE.
Now for
People like Superman and spider man I’d say that yes a black persons could play these characters BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY REAL ESTABLISHED CHARACTERS IN ALTERNATE UNIVERSES.
Look up Calvin Ellis (Kalel) of Earth 23 he is the black SUPERMAN and US President in the DC Multi-verse series
So these types of cases can ACTUALLY BE DONE PERFECTLY. But the BLACK SUPERMAN CANT BE CLARK KENT
A deeper example
Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel used to be a FAWCETT comic that ripped off DC comics SUPERMAN after FAWCETT lost the lawsuit again DC they stopped using “Captain Marvel” all together.
Later MARVEL COMICS started to using CAPTAIN MARVEL due to it not being trademarked by FAWCETT, for there new Character that was originally a Male till they killed him off due to poor performance against DC comics and then later brought Captain Marvel back as a female police officer then several different people played Captain Marvel. Later in 1968 they had introduced Carol Danvers but not until 1977 that she was involved in a Phyche-Magnetron explosions that meld her DNA with Captain Marvel’s DNA giving her superpowers and a new identity MS. MARVEL but not until 2012 is when she was Named CAPTAIN MARVEL
IT GETS DEEPER
1970 DC comics licensed the old FAWCETT comics CAPTAIN MARVEL but they had to change the name due to trademark issues with Marvel Comics and they change the Name to SHAZAM BUT people still called him CAPTAIN MARVEL which wAs confusing for many years and they only named him that because that was his Catchphrase that turn him into the superhero SHAZAM.
So the original CAPTAIN MARVEL IS SHAZAM
And this year in 2019
Captain Marvel was released in March 2019
Shazam was released in April 2019
So if you think about it TWO completely different CAPTAIN MARVEL’S were released a month apart.
But back to the main topic:
I don’t have a issue with this overall, I only have a issue with it because they can’t seem to find a way to use new story’s especially with some of those I named above that aren’t well known I mean look at how a Black character such as Black Panther did with a all black team and cast they blew it out of the water. It was so good.
Why change any extremely popular characters such as Ariel especially since she has been white since 1989. I get Disney is trying to do all these live action movies But they didn’t change The Jungle Book or Aladdin they for sure didn’t do it for the new Mulan coming out in 2020 Shit why would they not try making Princess and the frog with a actual BLACK PRINCESS or Atlantis: The lost empire “Brown skinned Princess” first BEFORE completely changing another movie. I bet they won’t change Pocahontas or Moana ( I do know Cinderella was remade for tv that casted a wide variety of races playing “white characters” such as BRANDY PLAYING CINDERELLA”)
My whole question is WHY CHANGE SOMETHING when there is soooo many untouched characters out there to explore.
Is it to cause…….unnecessary drama?
My guess is, the studios just didn’t fully think about it before doing it or they did and just like how Trump used MSM, they did it to fuel free publicity and they know outrage gets views.
